Mere Turns 1!

It was a rough day for the new one-year-old.  Some sickness had hit hard.  We still tried to treat her to some raspberry bread pudding for the big day.  Instead, mom and dad were treated to A LOT of raspberry bread pudding.  Her sad little eyes say it all.

The biggest smile I could eek out of her.

It was a tough day, but she's brought a whole lot of joy in one year.

She started as this sweet little bundle of love.  And has transitioned into a saucy and independent little girl that runs this house:)  It may seem like I'm saying she has become more difficult, which may or may not be true.  What hasn't changed, however, is her level of awesomeness.  It's that time when her personality is starting to explode.  She loves playing with her brother.  She loves dancing.  She loves eating.  She loves deciding where she wants to go and what she wants to do.  Meredith is full of interest and intrigue.  And I can't wait to see what another year brings.

PS.  I could just much on her cheeks and squeeze her thighs all day.
