Christmas Festivities

Yes, it was Christmas. And yes, there were many festivities. And they were all great. It all began with my friend Annie leading the gingerbread house making efforts. I'm a first-timer mind you, so I really had no idea what I was doing, but man, was it fun...and therapeutic.

The window we've all seen too much of, but mom was great enough to make me pose by it:)

Christmas Eve photos with our handsome boy.

The 2 Wisemen at our Christmas Story reenactment. (I held the dove, big role for a pregnant lady.) ((Riggs got REALLY hot from doing whatever it is he does, thus, the no shirt.))

Christmas morning, 4 am, which is actually when the husband and I got up to exchange presents. We just couldn't sleep any longer, so we rock banded it until the Rigster finally got up. We paid for that mistake about 3 hours later. Alas, it was a great memory.

Opening of the first present, Mr. Potato Head. As pictured below, he really enjoyed opening presents if you growled and ripped the paper really hard. Dad had his work cut out for him.

And of course his first taste of the famous Christmas Tree. His face doesn't show it, but he LOVED it, trust me. We ate 2 trees in 2 days. Mmmmm. Can't wait for next year's.
